Meet Gracia

Gracia Gimse Mckinley
Swami Vidyananda

Gracia finds great joy in supporting seekers in the process of awakening. She acts as a mirror to reflect the pure goodness and beauty that exists at the core of your being.

Your everyday life is your spiritual life. Rituals and spiritual practices are tools to help you attune to your highest and best self which is one with the Divine. Gracia combines interspiritual meditation and ritual creation along with yoga techniques to support people in living authentic, happy and meaningful lives connected to sacred consciousness.

Gracia teaches in a variety of venues including private spiritual direction practice, yoga studios, conferences (see Sedona Yoga Festival, Parliament of the World Religions, Women and Spirituality Conference, and Minneapolis Yoga Conference), and corporations such as Microsoft and Amazon. She is the author of the ‘Ask the Swami’ column in  MN Yoga + Life Magazine.

Swami Vidyananda was the name given to Gracia (pronounced gray-sha) at her ordination as a householder swami (minister) through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. The Kriya Yoga lineage embraces and respects all religious and spiritual traditions. It draws from a variety of them to customize spiritual practices to suit individual needs. In her role as a swami, she performs significant life transformation rituals such as weddings, funerals, and baby blessings.
